For Our Weary Guests
All of our beds feature thick orthopaedic mattresses, soft as down duvets, 400 thread Egyptian cotton linen, and luxurious quilts. After a hard day's walking in the idyllic surrounds, settle onto a cloud of comfort and know you'll be ready for the next day's adventure.
An oasis in nature
National Park all around
Our 34 acre estate of woodland, pasture, lake and brook, in its own hidden valley is surrounded on all sides by the Dartmoor National Park. Ancient woodlands, babbling brooks, cascading waterfalls and nature in all its glory revive you here.
A rich and exotic history
In a 300 year old estate
The White Rajah built this house on an ancient estate, as his home from home when in England, and he is buried in the adjacent Church of St Leonard, with his history inscribed all around. His family today welcome you to connect with that history, which drew him here to make his own retreat from the cares of the World.
